I don’t know that your counselor is right.  I know someone who called W&M Friday and asked and they said no decisions on waitlist yet.  It would be surprising if both W&M and UVA don’t even pick up a handful from the waitlist.  Chances are always slim of course even if they do.[/quote]

Looking back over the last five years, both schools have pulled at least a small handful off the waitlist each year.  Just saying that based on past data, there will likely be a few this year as well.  Nothing to hold your breath about though.[/quote]
