I don’t think she realized that when she got married. She probably had really low self esteem and was insecure about her career. Whenever she says her husband looks like Keanu I want to laugh, I mean both are Asian, one is hot and one is very average. When you combine that with how he humiliated her with the forced prenup, I can see why they’re divorcing.

No this is classic example of a woman listening to society about her 'ticking clock' and marrying the first person who asked her who met the credentials required by her community or culture. Namely he's straight-laced and has a Ivy grad degree in this case.

She was 31 when they married and 27 when they met. According to the Asian mom and aunties timeline 'No one want you when you 30 - hurry up!'
