But, like, John Geddart (2012 Olympic coach) was accused of physical and verbal abuse - screaming, throwing things, etc. And there are many, many more similar examples. As a former gymnast parent of a new gymnast, I want to have a way to check on the culture of the gym I'm sending my kid to. That doesn't mean I'm going to watch every practice but it does mean that a closed gym isn't going to work for me [/quote]
