In fact, I think it's silly to use the word "holiday tree". However, neither the Easter egg hunt or the Christmas tree are religious symbols or part of Christian liturgy. They are cultural practices associated with Christianity, but not religious practices. Teaching kids about them doesn't constitute religious indoctrination or proselytizing, and anyone can enjoy them. It's not like they are making your kids participate in the Eucharist.[/quote]
