Getting rid of SAT was one of the ways to increase URM in CA univ. Harvard uses "holistic" admission to also include more URM, but also gives legacy a boost. Universities that lean more engineering like Caltech, MIT, CMU, use quantative data points a lot more, like SATs. They also tend not to look at legacy much, if at all.[/quote]
