It seems to be working well on the grid-iron since they adopted this format 4 years ago, I still can't figure out why it hasn't been done for lacrosse.

It's simple":

Upper Division:
1. SJC
2. GZ
3. DM
4. PVI
5. GC (GC has a much higher ceiling right now than anyone else in the lower division, and even now with the Saint Andrews coaching coming in)

Lower Division:
1. BI
2. Bishop Mac
3. O'Connell 
4. The Heights
5. Ryken (with the right coach, and really the only private school in town in Southern MD, these guys could get pretty competitive, very quickly)

SJC or GZ getting nothing out of beating a team 20-0 and vice versa. it's not fun for the players on any side, the coaches or the parents for that matter.

Every two seasons, re-assess if a team either wants to drop down to the lower division or if a team in the lower division, wants to bump up.

Sadly, the ADs and Heads of these schools are too stupid on how to figure out a proper league format that fair and fun for all parties involved.
