My daughter is a 9th grader who seems to only like the school because she is among other motivated kids and has made some good friends; she also reports a ton of work but not a ton of great teaching. She will stay, we just asked her last night if she wants to transfer to Wilson next year and she said no, she wants to graduate from Walls. My son, headed to 9th grade probably didn't make the cutoff and is nowhere close to his sister with intrinsic motivation. Even if he got an interview (unlikely) and was accepted, I just can't see him liking or thriving at Walls.[/quote]
