Dems can't seem to read the room.  Rs are better at that.  For better or worse, Rs know how to tap into  anger, while Dems are way too kumbaya and blind to how their hyper focus on all things race and gender related is enraging other groups. They remind me of Richard Gere's speech during the 9/11 concert.  He also couldn't read the room and got booed off the stage.

DP.  I completely agree with you - except for the kumbaya Dems part.  I think liberal Democrats are actually quite hateful, not "kumbaya" at all.  Issues of race and gender now have them screaming at anyone who disagrees that they're a "racist/white supremacist/insert insult".  They are far more divisive in their pitting of one group against another group.  They do certainly *pretend* to be kumbaya and "uniting," though - those "Hate has no home here" BS signs are a dead giveaway.[/quote]

Yea I mean I've seen Democrats call Asians "white supremacy adjacent" which is a really odd insult to invent. Literally anyone can run afoul of the progressive message and be called a racist or racist-ish.[/quote]

We see this here on DCUM all the time.  Dare to disagree with a far-left opinion and you're immediately labeled "racist, white supremacist," etc.  I have to remember that these nutters are the tiny minority.  Normal, sane people do not behave, or even think this way.[/quote]
