[twitter]https://twitter.com/thedailybeast/status/1481308936737275909[/twitter]
Why do these damn woke liberals have to stick their noses into a good Christian, God-loving family-based rape syndicate? #WalkAway
As I’m assuming your post was sarcastic, lol. (If your post was real, lol, but in a different tone, and followed by a “god help you.”) I seem to remember Republicans get exceptionally heated up about pedophilia but here we find yet another elected pedophile rapist Republican and the same anger is a little thin on the ground.
Many days into this revelation, is there any investigation of these allegations? Is he just going to get away with it?
I’m pretty sure one of the articles mentioned a criminal investigation. The Michigan House will not conduct one, to no one’s surprise. https://amp.detroitnews.com/amp/9190457002
Yup here it is. The House is assisting the police investigation but won’t do its own. “The Lansing Police Department received the complaint and referred it to investigators in its Seventh District in northern Michigan, according to MSP spokesperson Shanon Banner. Gideon D’Assandro, spokesperson for current House Speaker Jason Wentworth, R-Farwell, told reporters Wednesday the House made contact with both Lansing and state police and offered full cooperation. “The focus right now is on the two investigative bodies who are already looking into this and doing what the House can do to be cooperative and to help them with what they’re doing,” he said.” https://www.mlive.com/public-interest/2022/01/michigan-house-assisting-police-in-chatfield-investigation-not-currently-planning-its-own.html?outputType=amp
