Agree x1000. My kid is disappointed, of course, and soooo over COVID (figuratively and literally - she spent most of break in isolation following a positive test), but I’m happy to say that she has some perspective at age 15 that many adults seemingly lack. [/quote]

I’m a high school teacher.  Most of the kids have been awesome.  Very sick of the kids that don’t want to wear masks correctly, though.  We’re all uncomfortable… I have to teach in it, but public health guidance from smarter people than I am would suggest that it can help keep us in school.  Why are they more important than everybody else?  I am pretty disappointed to read that some of the parents on here are saying that they don’t believe in masks and are teaching they’re kids not to use them. It doesn’t matter what you believe in, it’s the policy.  You are putting me in a constant battle with your kids.  There are other kids in my classroom whose parents have taught them to follow the policy, and would like it enforced.  It’s instruction.
