Not with any of these top clubs but based on what I’ve seen on social media, FCV placed girls in more top tier schools. They get a lot hate but they definitely are doing something right regardless of what league they play in.
FCV has several players committed to Virginia Tech.
VT and VMI and a bunch of lower level schools (Towsend anyone??) VDA has Wake, George Washington, South Carolina, JMU
First time EVER, VDA has a good committed team. Remind yourself if it wasn’t for the players’ prior teams VDA’s list would be George Washington!
Well that’s not true but misleading for dramatic effect is typical in 2021. But honestly, those GW commits probably got more money then your entire team combined. FCWalkon
Academically GW ranked 63 VT - 75 Both in top 100 Universities What are their soccer rankings?
I cannot tell you how stupid and nauseating the citation of university rankings has become - this is a good corrective to complete nonsense to which the poster responded. But it is like looking at state rankings to decide where to live. Those schools are fine; the major, your grades, your test scores, and many other intangibles (your work and life experience) make all the difference when the soccer is over, which will be true for 99.99% of these kids. 10 years from now you better have a really good grad degree if you want a really good job, and your undergrad location (vs performance, major, tests, Recs, intangibles) will mean almost nothing no matter what all the bozo snowplow parents in this area think. 99 percent of them have not performed or hired at elite levels.
And that’s why you take the scholarship over the photo op. Get undergrad on their dime. Use the savings for grad school.
Happy for all of those committed to play in college, I wish I understood why so many people care so much about other kids.
Honestly - no one cares until the bragging and boasting happens. Usually by the non-elected club mouth piece
