Anyway, OP — I think you have your answer.  Some people love it, some people hate it, some people like it okay but think they couldn’t pull it off but you can.  No one was able to suggest something universally loved.  You can please everyone so please yourself!  (Or alternatively, just pick the one your husband likes because  there’s nothing more irritating that the guy you’re with saying stuff about your dress like “I don’t get it….”—I learned that lesson with a one-shoulder number years ago.).
