You do know that a lot of these "older relatives" are out living their lives as normal?   Go check out any flight to Europe and it will be filled with many of these "elderly that we need to save" jetting off to the have the time of their lives.  Meanwhile [b]our college students are wearing masks  to class [/b]and having study abroad opportunities cancelled.[/quote]

I enjoy wearing masks because I don't get sick nearly as often as I used to. And I carry hand sanitizer in my pocket whereever I go and use it all the time.

I have not been sick in a year and a half.

My kids wear masks except while eating. NBD.

Wearing masks, practicing distancing when needed, maybe even (gasp) doing both, getting vaccinated, being out of in-person school for a period of time [i]with the advantage of technology to ensure you don't entirely lose all academic advancement[/i]--you make that sound like they've been freaking [i]crucified[/i].
