I agree with the folks who mentioned My Girl (when Caulkin's character dies) and Imitation of Life (funeral scene). We watched Imitation of Life many times growing up and it never fails to make me cry. Don't think I can handle watching it now. So incredibly sad!

I haven't seen, read or even heard of Sophie's Choice. I tried to skip posts that looked like they would give too much away. Now, I'm afraid. I'm an avid reader, so I don't know how I missed this one. I haven't seen Schindler's List...mainly because movies dealing with the Holocaust are just terribly sad. Same goes for anything dealing with slavery.

Many movies that have made me cried have been listed (The Kite Runner, The Color Purple, Toy Story 3 (when Andy leaves Woody!!), Boys Don't Cry, Philadelphia (so incredibly sad).

But one movie that never falls to make me cry buckets is Set It Off. OMG........I'm getting sad just thinking about it!

Other movies: Ghost, Cold Mountain (My God...I almost lost it!), Million Dollar Baby, Blood Diamond.
