+1 Thisis an epically bad take. Kevin Costner was surprisingly good in Bull Durham, but he’s a dreadful actor, and Dancing with Wolves was tied with Waterworld for the worst of the worst. [/quote]

I disagree - Dances with Wolves was really good  - when it came out.  Doesn't hold up, but it was a good movie at the time.  He was really good in Bull Durham.  Also excellent in The Untouchables.  [/quote]

I caught Field of Dreams on cable not long ago, for the first time since it was in the theater, and was surprised that it held up better than expected, except that the James Earl Jones magical Negro subplot, though well acted, was definitely cringeworthy.[/quote]
