Take a look at the fingers in your hand. Every finger is of a different size, even when they are part of the same hand. This is true of the luck and fortune of siblings too. Look at Kate Middleton kids. Her firstborn is the heir. The third kid is not only unfortunate looking but will be discarded like Harry was. This is also the fortunes of siblings. OP, your sister will have wonderful vacations with people who are in the same SES like her. It will be hard for you. You are siblings but your paths have now diverged.
Life is really unfair isn’t it?
This isn't unfair. My sibling and I have a similar situation. We value different things and made different decisions for partners which lead to different life outcomes. My sister married very young to someone she was head over heels in love with. I married a tad bit older (still young by dcum standards) to a person on not head over heels illve with but is very much a good match. Once when my sister expressed jealousy my parents pointed out we each made decisions in partners based on what we value and we value different things. You can't be jealous. You made your choice.
