Agree, not sure why some of the "bigger" clubs held tryouts so early already.  Still lots of tryouts coming up in the next few weeks but the constant pressure doesn't help anyone make an informed decision. [/quote]

We tried out with our younger daughter at several places with deadlines.  All we had to do was tell them we needed more time and they were fine.   We did not feel like anyone was pressuring us to sign up, despite the deadlines.  I mean - they need to know at some point, right?!?[/quote]

They do but some like to pressure you in the hopes that you will be forced to pick them and not some other team. You are lucky they haven't pressured you for a decision as it does happen often - and it typically backfires in the long run.[/quote]
