[/quote] Exactly![/quote] Not pp, but those things aren't mutually exclusive if you think about it and consider where the kid might be otherwise.[/quote] In our neighborhood it is quite common to keep the kids home for an extra year. They get a lot of extra free time and it is an advantage for that reason. They can still go to kindergarten half days. We did it with all of our kids. I could care less about test scores. It was a nice way to let the kids play a little bit longer. If you can afford it, then do it. If you can't, then don't.[/quote]
