The only thing that’s materially different from other schools’ processes for competing for a top scholarship is that Tulane doesn’t require an interview. I don’t think an applicant with a 3.0 and no test score would have been in the running for the top scholarships at Tulane. Regardless, sounds like OP’s son got a nice deal. Free college tuition is a huge win in anyone’s book. Congrats to your son on his accomplishments![/quote]
