NO ONE is responsible for an addict's behavior other than themselves and their addiction of choice. I'm a child of alcoholics so don't even give me your 12-step interpretation of whatever garbage AA is putting out. The entire model of AA is that if you isolate someone sufficiently they either die or get treatment - it does not mean they get sober. It also doesn't mean that a spouse / loved one or friend is andn enabler. This view is so cruel and absurd - and the addiction industry makes big $$$$ off of it. I digress.
