That's utter nonsense.

If you want on the ballot, you have to have the ACDC endorsement.  If you're not in lock step with ACDC and actively engaged so they know you, you aren't going to get their campaign support and all the individual party people endorsements.  Only the people with that support and those endorsements have any potential "strings."  And if you're not interested in politics and seeking higher office, [b]you have no reason to feel beholden by any implied strings.[/b]

ACDC doesn't censor SB candidates - they haven't had any they needed to, which is the problem!  ACDC influences who gets ON the board.  You can do what you want according to your own political ambitions after that.[/quote]
