A great many parents today expect their children to be included in everything - OP and numerous other posters in the thread are evidence of the assertion. A great many parents today bring their children to formal functions and settings and will not discipline their children’s inappropriate (for that setting) at all. Anyone who spends anytime in public knows this. The modern parenting concepts have gone awry in far too many families.[/quote]
