My DS did Futsal this past winter and it helped so much. Especially with one on ones and tight spaces. One of the kids on his Futsal team was a beast at playing futsal — like really good (VDA player), but when I saw him at practice not too long after (ds was invited to a session) he was actually one of the mid to lower level players on boys vda — physically he struggled to keep up. I think pairing futsal over winter with some “strength” Training ( pushups, sit ups, small weights) is the way to go. [/quote]
