White's kids are very young. Tune back in a few years and they'll almost certainly have been quietly enrolled at GDS.
Lol. Seriously. So disappointed in this guy, who I liked before. Sort of reminds me of my childless friends who post articles about keeping schools closed. I have noticed they’re quiet now though. The situation is clearly out of control.
He has a kid in DCPS.
Yes, he does, and he pitched a hissy fit when the school (partially) reopened and vowed to unenroll. The majority of parents at his school wanted in person school per the survey, and there aren't even enough spots for those who want it. Now he's pissy at the school community.
This is not true. We attend the school, I believe his kids grade. I also turned down a spot. I believe anyone that wants a spot in that grade can have one.
1. It's all true. Stop lying to protect him. 2. There are students at this school who want spots but weren't offered them. I didn't say "his child's grade" but you knew that. 3. There are two entire grades at his school currently with no in person learning or CARE classrooms. Just nothing in person for these kids until they hopefully open spots in term 4. 4. There are grades that offer in-person but not everyone who wanted a spot was offered one.
There are classes that don’t have in person because there are no teachers to cover them, not lack of space. Are you seriously implying it’s because White that there are some classes without IPL? 🙄
You continue to make false allegations regarding what I said. I never said that it's Robert White's fault that there are some classes without IPL. I merely corrected your false statement: "I believe anyone that wants a spot in that grade can have one (an in person spot)." You clearly stated that anyone who wants an in person spot could have one at his school, and that's not true. I'm beginning to wonder if you're Robert White or his wife. He's certainly petty enough to come on this forum and make up lies to defend himself.
Your quote of my quote is still accurate. In MY child’s grade, anyone that wanted a spot got one.
What grade is your kid in? K? Which is the grade that has IPL and CARES so was able to accommodate more families? That is great for the K parents but doesn't help the other hundreds of families who can't get seats at Shepherd that want them
