The St. James has been planning to open another 'St. James' in Chicago for some time. I believe they were approved for zoning, etc. but didn't think they had actually started construction on a facility.[/quote]

The project got village approval March 2020 and developers were to submit final development plans March of this year. But last month, Michael Kerin, director of development for the St. James organization, asked trustees for a 12-month extension because of the impact the novel coronavirus pandemic has had on the company’s finances.
