We don’t do genomic sequencing here so we actually don’t know who infected who. We do know that many cases are asymptomatic, that children are overrepresented in this asymptomatic group, and that people are contagious prior to the onset of symptoms as well. Contact tracers are unable to determine any links in 80% of COVID cases (much less determine the point of origin). A 20% success rate is miserable. Just because it is technically possible to do these things doesn’t mean that it’s effective in the real world. [/quote]
