Nordstrom
My name is Larlo and I’m a man whose mother got me a subscription to Trunk Club last Christmas because she mistook me for a hobo when I flew in from DC late one evening and forgot the door security code. Don’t tell my drinking buddies that. I’m an investment banker at a shop in Tyson’s and graduated from SMU a few years back; originally, I’m from Richmond. I’m a member of The Capitol Club, The Capital Club, and have a mean golf game. I down a few beers with the guys while we play at Chevy or Congressional (Trip’s dad is a member and hooks us up). Also, don’t tell my mom this, but the clothes Derek, my Trunk Club guy, picked out for me at Nordstrom have definitely attracted more female attention my way. I met a great gal because she loved some random brand I was wearing. Great work, Derek; you’re hundo p a real homie. My name is Larla and I’m a diplomat’s kid, so I speak several languages and lived all over. Living all over Europe definitely influenced my fashion sense, so I like to mix and match different brands and style. That’s why I like Nordstrom. I went to NCS for high school and then Columbia, and now, I’m a writer for The New Yorker. My boyfriend is a hockey player and we live in Arlington, VA. I love working out, but don’t really like the athletic selection at Nordstrom. Don’t tell them that. I love watching Real Housewives — Potomac is my jam — and Larlo and I are in the same running club; Derek introduced us prior to that. I’m really into reading about the history of Washington, DC right now and have mostly neutral opinions on the DC “food scene.”
