Why do you all expect teachers to prioritize your kid's learning over their own LIVES? They can care about your kids, want them to learn, and also not be willing to DIE.
because the science actually shows you will not DIE. you need to do your job.
What other school district has as many black teachers and a 70% obesity rate (ward 7&8) and is in person?
I knew it was only a matter of time.
Why didn't you answer? How come white people only care about black people when it's a trend or convenient for them? It's really hurtful.
I care about the black kids being failed by the WTU. I care a lot less about adults who are failing them.
Caring more about education than black lives, nice.
Roll your eyes all you want, when you're black and you have lost a family member to covid and are overweight with high blood sugar, the fear is real. I didn't really expect much empathy from you people since caring about black kids is only a guise. I DO care about all kids but I need to take care of my health. I've already lost 30 pounds since April and am continuing. I'm sure many others are scared because of their health condition(s).
I feel for your fear. Losing a family member rocked my world too but making this about race is the wrong move here. Most of these people on here complaining will throw their white neighbor under the bus just as quickly if it helps them personally. The guise of empathy runs way deeper than skin color. Shitty people don’t see color, they just see themselves.
