I absolutely hate it when Democrats refer to black people as “folks.”   :roll:

A lot of people use the word folks to refer to people generally. I use it all the time and never thought anyone was using it to refer specifically to black people.

-1 white female. I do not use folks as I have heard from or read enough about black people indicating that they felt the word was disrespectful and intended to minimize, etc. I use the word to refer to other white folks, but not in reference to other races/ethnicities.[/quote]
