That number includes associate degrees.  I'm not sure that really counts. My sister got an associate degree in secretarial school a looooong time ago. She would not call herself "educated". And I'm sure you are aware, but not all degrees are equal.  And I say this as someone who went to a B rated state univ.

Also, as a whole, Asian Ams. are the most educated - that includes men and women.  But, if you split it out by gender and race, then that's a different story.

Yes, you can cut statistics many ways to say many things. Your last comment was unnecessary. White women are also more educated than white men.

White students also use drugs and commit suicide at higher rates than minorities.  The fact remains that if you are a wealthy white family, your kids will excel in any school.  The difference is the environment.  Whiter environments are usually deemed by white parents to be better. But that is entirely subjective, depending on what you think is "better", and I think that w's are overrated because "lots of whites and asians" doesn't fit with my perception of "better." [/quote]
