It is a trainwreck of teen moms, underemployment, neglect, abuse, drug addiction, absentee fathers, and suffering children. I live in Baltimore and it is a complete and utter failure - all around. I am not saying the nuclear model is best, there are lots of matriarchial societies and extended family models to emulate from other countries and cultures, but lets not imply that the current system is functional.[/quote]
