But be prepared for a no. And to not go above the professor because they are in the wrong, and they don’t want to make a bad name for themselves in the department. If I was the professor, I would probably let 11:59:00 to 11:59:59 kids off with a grade deduction— if they were first semester freshmen. Beyond that, they should already know the deal. [/quote]
