The "stay-at-home order" paragraph is no longer in the "stay at home" executive order. He's being lose with his terminology. There's no longer any legal order to stay in your homes unless you're conducting essential activities. That came out with the 6-1-2020 executive order. Are you actually reading the executive orders? Or just reading the summaries/press releases? I linked to the orders in my earlier post.
If it’s not actually in place, he shouldn’t say it is. He’s an idiot who doesn’t know how to speak clearly.
The way I understand it, there are additional permitted activities now. The original stay at home was pretty restrictive- you could leave for exercise, essential shopping, work. Now stuff like outdoor dining, more curbside pickup, haircuts, and protesting is allowed.
Yes, so then it’s asinine to stay “we are maintaining the stay at home order.” WTF does that mean in this context?!
Elrich is an idiot and we shouldn’t really be listening to him at all. Despite all the permitted activities the county playgrounds are still fenced off. It’s clear he doesn’t care about children at this point.
Yep. Kids can have sports practice, thousands of people can protest, but a few kids can’t play in a fking playground? Screw him.
Well Moco Parks are not giving permits for kids to have sports practice. Not in June and they are saying possibly not all summer. Sports organization are worried if they camp out on fields they won’t get permits in the future. So yes he doesn’t care about the kids. I’m sure there are more instances like this where he is completely non transparent You can get permits for protesting.
He looks like he’s always been the stay-inside-in-the-couch type, so probably doesnt understand the health benefits of outdoor play.
That's not fair. Didn't you see him outside a restaurant in the picture he posted last week? He's seems to love outdoor play, as long as "play" means eating. And as you noted, that seems to be a long-held favorite pastime of his.
Elrich has lost 50 lbs. I'm a county govt employee.
