My kid was regular.  Just got off the WL.  Must be more slots now because of internationals not showing up.  Good year to be on a WL.  Assume we gotta go.  Apprehensive about sending her across the country.  Still WL at an Ivy so we will see.  Was going to a top 15ish SLAC with merit.  But can't see a world where you turn down Pomona even full pay. In theory yes. That’s what Pomona would have you believe. Since this is an anonymous board, the chosen students whose waitlist moved can provide a valuable public service if they can disclose if they are FA recipients or are full pays. [/quote]

I saw a reddit poster recently saying that they got in through the waitlist, and the total cost is 3Kish. So yes, they've been admitting FA/needy students also.
