As a cyclist I just assume they apply to me and stop for them.
Agree--also a cyclist. How is this a question?
Because a lot of cyclists think they own the road they pedal on and think they are above the law..
Well they are sponsored by top brands. Put on those sponsor clothes and do whatever they please.
Here are the 3 categories of bicyclists I mainly see: 1. low-income men biking to get from Point A to Point B, on the sidewalk. 2. middle-class people biking to get from Point A to Point B, in the road or on the sidewalk. 3. kids, mostly on the sidewalk. I guess it's true about people on bikes being invisible.
If you are racist ad you know it lap your hands!!! I hope Karma reads your posts and is preparing bike for you.
NoVa checking in here AAs I see on bikes usually are A. Wearing spandex, on good road bikes, very fit, passing me ;) B. Families, sticking carefully to the trails C. Kids The low income POCs on bikes here are hispanics, always men, usually old cheap bikes, usually no helmet, usually on the sidewalk or sometimes a trail. Pretty clearly using it to get from place to place - not to save the world or to get fit, but because they either can't afford a car or don't have a license, and they need to go places where our inadequate bus system is inconvenient. That is reality, call it what you will.
