When one wants to be the best, one tries to compare to, measure up to and beat the best...to be the best.
You don’t try to measure up to mediocrity . If these jurisdictions were the best,  others would try to measure up to them.

Also, did you happen to check the title of this thread? "What comes to mind when you think of Montgomery County ". People say what they think and feel. 
Some brag about good things in MoCo, while others, haters and wannabes like yourself,  throw shades and hatreds( when you all don't even live in the county ).
Over 80% of the people living in the county think it's a great place to live,  so it's not empty bragging. IT IS  fact and reality.[/quote]

In others words the question is inherently attuned to giving a biased response. Now, is MoCo lovely?  Yes it seems like it is as are Fairfax and Loudoun and Arlington and most places around DC except for SE and NE DC and some portions of PG county. I.e. the poorer areas. The question was, “what comes to mind when you think of MoCo?” That question itself is geared towards a wide range of response from lovers and haters alike and those that live there and those that don’t. So now that we know that you live in MoCo I believe what comes to mind when I think of MoCo are people that are defensive and educated but not necessarily wise. [/quote]
