A 2.0 gpa from Harvard, Yale, Standford or any other school is worth exactly the same as a 4.0 after first job. Only other issue is getting into a good grad school would be hard. Even that is debatable. Of course this young adult needs to really look at what's going on. Look at your neighbors some never finished college or went for that matter.
