Yes, he is a "victim" but his daughter is more of a victim. She was victimized by her mother and now all he can think about is dating. He doesn't want her either... she is in the way. This whole thread is not about 50/50 vs 100%... his main question is how can he date under these circumstances. [/quote]

This is what I took away as well.  I mean the older daughter is with you only for another year or so.  Can’t you wait to date until she leaves for college?  Clearly your older daughter is affected and why not just put your adult activities on the back burner for now?[/quote]
