My kids were only shown by the teacher a couple really trivial practice questions put out by the CogAT and intended for that purpose. That's hardly the same as having a teacher run through full comprehensive practice tests. I would argue that anyone looking at any CogAT materials other than the official ones included with the CogAT and intended as pre-testing materials is prepping and is invalidating the CogAT score. At this point, though, so many kids are prepping that it seems foolish for anyone who wants their kids in AAP to refrain from prepping. [/quote]
