Note: international obesity tends to be linked by universal factors (those mentioned above)...not bread (or American bread which seems to be the implication by some allegedly Yugoslavian expats). I bought some cookies and crackers from Spain, and I was shocked by the sugar and fat content. Truly shocked. It's a myth that all American food is crap while all European food is healthy.
