Overall, I continue to be perplexed as to why minorities would support Trump, though current economic conditions might prompt them to. Where I live, I don’t see wage growth keeping pace with the cost of living. I see so many factors that would hurt most young Americans, not just minorities. Moreover, the state where I live enacted a tax program similar to Trump’s (in 2012) and it almost ran us into the ground before voters stopped it. So I can foresee the future of America because of the Trump tax plan - and it is frightening.

But most of all, I see the average (open) Trump supporter where I live. Those people don’t want to go near a black or Hispanic person if they can avoid it. I specifically watched area media coverage of the Trump rally, because I was curious about who attended. Those are some scary people, no matter how you slice it. Interestingly, I did not see any people of color in the pre-rally crowd, but I may have missed them. How a minority person would want to stand among them, I cannot fathom. But yes, I am generalizing.

Again, thank you to those who responded civilly. These are sad times for people of all colors and origins, at least in my view.[/quote]
