There are some minorities who choose to oppress other minorities rather than stand up to white racism.
Democrats keep telling me that everyone is racist to me. It made sense when I was a kid. Eventually I realized that this was just something Democrats said to get elected. They prey on fear and division between cultures in the US. Instead of celebrating the melting pot, they highlight our differences and say those differences are emblematic of some evil racist oppression. I grew up in a socialist country. Our family shared an apartment unit with 3 other families in DC when we first came to the United States. I've been very fortunate to have a wonderful loving family, and making enough income to be in the top 1%. I do not feel oppressed even though Democrats constantly tell me that I am.
You need a history lesson. Republicans invented the fear and racial politics. It started with southern democrats who later changed their party affiliation to republican because northern and western democrats were too liberal towards foreigners and POC. Let’s we forget, the immigration Act of 1965 which President Johnson pushed through to open up America to Asia, Africa, and Southern Europe. Before 1965, people from those regions were limited in very small numbers to immigrate to the US, for fear of America losing its whiteness. Republicans and southern democrats (Jesse helms, Strom Thurmond, et al) tried blocking legal immigration for Italians, Asians, Nigerians. Those democrats and Dixiecrats switched to become republicans under under Nixon’s notorious southern hateful strategy of racial identity politics, of do you want to send your children to school with them, etc. . Ronald Reagan followed it up by his welfare queen strategy that Blacks are on welfare and want you to take care of them with higher taxes. George Bush topped it off with his “Willie Horton” advertising that the Black man is sinister and will rape and kill your white daughters. And now we have Trump’s strategy. Has Trump once told pellet to go back to Italy. Or Schumer to wherever his ancestors first arrived from? When he was in disagreement with any of the white people and there have been many, has he ever told them to go back to their ancestors place of origin. Nah, only POC are considered to be truly non-American. We are just visiting It matters not how long our fathers and grandfathers and grandfathers fathers have resided in these United States, according to Trumpwe don’t belong here. Did he ask for Ted Cruz birth certificate. You know, The candidate with a white Cuban father. Nope, only the Black man was harassed about his origin of birth. You lie to yourself and others PP when you say identity politics and racial politics are from the democrats. The democrats are trying to address the hate you republicans continue to spew from one generation to the next.
