[/quote] I haven't read the rest of the thread, so maybe (hopefully) someone has addressed this already, but giving in would not keep the peace, since many of your family members agree with you, just are too chicken to say so. I also agree that blaming your niece isn't fair to her or her parents, who likely would be subject to snarky comments from these boundary challenged family members. [/quote]
