Also, I apologize to anyone in advance who might be offended by the quote marks around queer.  I hate that word.  My aunt and her partner were lesbians who came out in the 70s, and they have always hated that word so I picked it up.  When they say the word they actually make the quote marks with their hands lol.  Anyway I realized after I hit submit what I had done and I know that a lot of people, like Hester does, prefer the word.  Who am I to judge!?!  Anyway, mea culpa.[/quote]

Sebastian is gay and I'm not clear if Garo and Bishme are, too.  But maybe they are also?  I don't think that Hester being gay is anything that sets her apart.[/quote]
