I read the real estate section almost daily.  I dont' think there is a 22101 vs. 22102 poster war but I do think there is one nutcase who has to run down Great Falls real estate at every opportunity.  I don't understand why they do it (and I don't live in Great Falls) but they seem to have a personal or business reason to continue to post over and over that nothing is moving in Great Falls and that real estate is doomed there.[/quote]

It is part of the McLean Booster's schtick.  He irrationally hates 22102 as much as Great Falls, and Vienna too of late, because he thinks it will somehow help his choice of residence: "but everything else sucks, except my choice!" Stomp, stomp, stomp......basically him in a nutshell.  His neighborhood listserv is filled with "this is the best neighborhood ever!" proclamations, except he does nothing to help his case.  A lot of us think it is funny, though.  A bit sad, but still funny. [/quote]
