Higher test scores, great GPAs, tons of APs/IBs scoring in 5s and 7s, stellar EC activities, stellar community service....these are qualifications in my books.  What qualification does your kid have? (Wearing MAGA hats do not count!)

Where do we lack in our admissions?  Skin color.  Race.  Not having broken families.  Not being very poor or very rich (i.e being middle class). Not being FARMs or ESOL (mostly).  Being minimized for our hard work - eg - Getting 800 in the  SAT quant?  Oh well, Asians are good in Math!  Asians are good in spelling, in robotics, in science competitions, in playing musical instruments.  Does that mean that then for us to be admitted we need to fail spectacularly.

Let me ask you all - [b]are Asians a superior breed of humans, with superior brain powers?[/b]  Is that what it is all about? Genetically we have an edge and so the bar has to be higher for our students?  If you don't think that we have a genetic edge then  any discrimination on qualifications is racism. Great way to remove merit from US.

Some Asians would like to believe this, but it is simply not true lol.  Asians are hard workers, period.  Remember when the Jews were like that?  Many years ago it was the Jews who worked their butts off to achieve.  And now they are becoming complacent and the Asians have taken over that trait.  Asians will succeed with hard work...not with "superior brain powers."[/quote]
