Is there anywhere to watch from the beginning? I see that you have to pay for the back episodes on demand.
I just binged the whole season so far on Hulu. I must be lacking the sophisticated cynicism gene—**hangs head in mild shame**— but I’m loving this show. I love all the characters, except Ashley, who I don’t mind. Regina is gorgeous. I would watch just for her hair and head scarves. She and Rome are adorable. I love Maggie. Her apartment is fabulous with the brick and green moulding and art. I find Delilah charismatic. Her skin glows, she has a great sense of humor, and I’m fascinated by the ends of her hair. I’m also drawn to Katherine. Her understated sense of duty to work and family and longing for more time with her son makes me root for her. She plays it low key but her face is so expressive. The sound track for the whole show has been great, with the exception of Eddie’s “original” song, which was surprisingly meh. I guess it’s the aesthetics that have really drawn me in. It’s the middle of a dreary DC winter, and I crave having something pretty to watch. The way all the characters behave better than humans can normally be expected to behave, with humor, forgiveness, etc., is so pervasive in the show that I have no expectation of realism. I’m happy to give in to the fantasy of it.
