They tried to do a This is Us fill in the blanks with never before revealed type scenes that explain what lead up to "the incident", but really the episode told us nothing interesting and they did it in a painfully boring way. It seemed like cutting room footage from the pilot. 
Still can't wrap my head around how no one in the gang remotely suspects that Eddie is the baby's father. These two lied, snuck around, etc., yet everyone just takes their word on the paternity from the cheaters. A writer on this show is pushing the neglected by an overworked spouse angle because we are supposed to sympathize with love starved, lonely Delilah, unfulfilled, tortured artist Eddie and they clearly hate Katherine, who got zero sympathy until Eddie cheated with Delilah. Had he cheated with some unknown woman they probably would have shrugged and said she deserved it for not being around much.[/quote]
