Why do people consider children to be "baggage"? Series answers, please.
Because it’s how the world works. People are inherently selfish and don’t want to take care of another person’s offspring. Additionally, people who procreate with unstable or unfit partners tend to be stupid. Why bother with people who purposely bring children into unstable home lives? It’s extremely selfish.
I don't think it's selfish but pragmatic. If I didn't choose to bring said child into the world, why must I be obliged to deal with them? Or finance them? That is just crazy. Also agree that single moms, especially the kind who "I was in a relationship and didn't use protection and then I got knocked up" aren't great life planners or people who are suitable to be life partners. Not being misogynistic, in fact, I'm a woman myself and I really dont think highly of such women. A friend and I had this discussion once about how it's more unfair for women but because of that, I reason that women need to be much smarter than men. It's 2018- unintended pregnancies shouldn't be happening ladies. And if you choose to have your babies, don't expect a knight in shining armor either.
