Even Grant Wahl does not like it, even though he seems to try to argue in the end that some unidentified soccer people think that Berhalter is a good hire despite the flawed process.   On the other hand, Alexi Lalas, who is normally a big US soccer establishment apologist, said "If the same process to hire Gregg Berhalter had been used to hire Julen Lopetegui or Tata Martino, most wouldn't give a damn about the process."    I happen to think they managed to screw up both the process and the choice.  [/quote]
